Εκεί λοιπόν που είχα απελπιστεί και τά ‘χα βάψει μαύρα έλαμψε ξαφνικά το φως της ελπίδας για καλύτερες μέρες. Είναι σημαντικό πως η ελπίδα έρχεται και πάλι απο την μεγάλη υπερατλαντική δημοκρατία και “προστάτιδα κουτών και αδυνάτων”, τις ΗΠΑ. Είναι σημαντικό γιατί, κατά το κοινώς λεγόμενο, όταν φτερνίζεται η Αμερική κρυολογάει όλος ο κόσμος. Εξυπακούεται πως όταν η Αμερική χαμογελάει ο κόσμος όλος σκάει στα γέλια. Εξηγούμαι:

Μια κυρία Michele Bachmann, πρώην μέλος της Αμερικάνικης Βουλής των Αντιπροσώπων και νυν συμβουλάτορας επι θρησκευτικών θεμάτων του κυρίου Trump, δήλωσε πως το αφεντικό της “υψώθηκε” απο τον θεό για να κερδίσει τις προεδρικές εκλογές. Πώς το ξέρει;
“Είναι κάτι που γνωρίζω απο το Βιβλίο του Προφήτη Δανιήλ”, είπε, “η ουσία του Βιβλίου είναι πως ο Ύψιστος Θεός εξυψώνει όποιον θέλει και χαντακώνει όποιον θέλει… Δεν πιστεύω πως ο θεός κάθεται αδιάφορος. Είναι ο Κυρίαρχος Θεός. Ο Donald Trump έγινε ο υποψήφιός μας… Ίσως να κάνω λάθος μα αυτό που ξέρω είναι πως η Βίβλος είναι αληθινή και πως ο Δανιήλ μας διδάσκει οτι ο Υψιστος Θεός, που είναι ένα απο τα ονόματα του Θεού, εξυψώνει αυτόν που θέλει και καταβαραθρώνει αυτόν που θέλει…”

Αλληλούια! Αναθαρρύνετε λοιπόν αδελφές και αδελφοί! Εξ Αμερικής και πάλι το φως της ελπίδας. Της ελπίδας πως πρόεδρος των ΗΠΑ θα είναι ο -κατά τον Δανιήλ- εκλεκτός του θεού κύριος Τράμπ. Ποιός την χάρη μας!

ΣΗΜΕΙΩΣΗ. Αν διαβάζοντας τις δηλώσεις της κυρίας Bachmann σας πέρασαν απο το μυαλό τίποτα Ταλιμπάν, τζιχαντιστες ή ιεροεξεταστές, δεν είναι τυχαίο. Εγώ πάντως αυτά σκέφτηκα.

As I was in a dark mood, feeling desperate about the way this world of ours is going downhill, there came suddenly a flash of light, a promise that better days will soon come. It is important to stress that this flash of hope comes once again from that great democracy on the other side of the Atlantic, the USA. It is important because, according to the common saying, when America sneezes the rest of the world catches cold. It follows then that when America smiles the rest of the world bursts out in a laughter of joy. Let me explain myself:
A certain Michele Bachmann, Former Minnesota Rep. and Donald Trump’s evangelical adviser, in an interview with The Brody File she said that Donald Trump was “raised up” by God to win in the general election.

“This is one thing I know from the Book of Daniel” she said, “the bottom line of the Book of Daniel is this: it teaches us that the most high God lifts up who He will and takes down who He will… I don’t think God sits things out. He’s a sovereign God. Donald Trump became our nominee… Maybe I’m wrong, I don’t know but I do know that the Bible is true and that Daniel teaches the most high God which is one of God’s names is the one who lifts up who he will and takes down who He will…”

Hallelujah! Rejoice, sisters and brothers! Hope comes once again from America, hope that -according to Daniel- her next president will be god’s chosen, Donald Trump. Aren’t we fortunate!

NOTE. If, while reading Ms. Bachmann’s prophecy, you felt as if those words came from some Taliban, Jihadist or even some Holy Inquisitor, it is not accidental. That is how I felt.
