Δεν μπορεί, θα σας έχει τύχει κάποια φορά να ξεκινήσετε για να κάνετε κάτι ή να πάτε κάπου και να συμβει κάτι που θα σας κάνει να ξεστρατίσετε και να καταλήξετε αλλού. Εγώ την παθαίνω συχνά την δουλειά, έτσι και τώρα. Είπα να κάνω κάτι για την Αυστρία και την Υπ. Εξωτερικών της, την κυρία Johanna Miki Leitner. Ξέρετε, αυτήν που θεωρεί πως η Ελλάδα είναι κάτι σαν ένα κουνούπι που δεν έχει θέση σε μια συζήτηση για το προσφυγικό. Πως το προσφυγικό είναι πρόβλημα που η αντιμετώπισή του αφορά μόνο την Αυστρο-Ουγγαρία και τους δορυφόρους της κι ας πάνε όλοι οι άλλοι -πρόσφυγες και Ελλάδα- να κουρεύονται.

Μπήκα λοιπόν στον Google κι εκεί που έψαχνα για φωτογραφίες να σκιτσάρω την φάτσα της κυρίας Μίκι Λάιτνερ με χτύπησαν στο μάτι οι ενδυματολογικές της επιλογές. Ξέχασα και την πολιτική και τα σχόλια που σκόπευα να κάνω και έγινα ξαφνικά ΓΕΛΟΙΟΓΡΑΦΟΣ και ΓΕΛΕΙΟΓΡΑΦΟΣ, έτσι σκέτα και με κεφαλαία. Είναι άραγε ποδοσφαιριστής; Ρωμαίος γλαδιάτορας; Ή μήπως κοιμώταν όταν ντύθηκε…

Ό,τι και νά’ταν, σας την παραδίδω. Ορκίζομαι πως οι φωτό είναι αληθινές και στην διάθεση του κάθε δύσπιστου.

I am sure it has also happened to you sometime,to start doing something or to go somewhere and then something happens along the way and you end up doing something else instead. Well, it happens to me all the time and it happened again now. I thought I should make a cartoon about Austria and her Foreign Minister, Johanna Miki Leitner. You know, the one that thinks that Greece is something like a tiny mosquito that has no place in a discussion of the refugee problem, which is to be discussed, and solved, only by Austria-Hungary and her satellite countries- and never mind what other European countries have to say.

So, I went to Google in search of pictures of Mrs. Miki Leitner, to draw a cartoon of her. While searching I was struck by her wardrobe and suddenly I forgot politics and whatever such comments I wanted to make. Suddenly, I became a CARTOONIST, someone who draws funny pictures, plain and simple as that. Is she football player? A Roman gladiator? Or was it that she was still asleep while she was dressing. I leave it to you to decide. I promise her pictures are genuine, at the disposal of whoever is not fully convinced.
