Εξήγηση σκίτσου:

Την εποχή του πολέμου του Βιετνάμ ο Τραμπ πέρασε περιοδεύων για τον στρατό όπως ήταν υποχρεωτικό για όλους τους άντρες τότε.

Λόγω όμως ότι στο Βιετνάμ εκείνο τον καιρό γινόταν “και το Βιετνάμ”, ο βουτυρομπεμπές Ντόναλντ έπρεπε να το αποφύγει. Οπότε με τα λεφτά του μπαμπά του και κάποιο μέσον -ναι γίνονται κι εδώ αυτά αλλά σε αρχάριο επίπεδο μπρος σε εμάς- βρήκαν ότι είχε  άκανθα στην φτέρνα- πάλι καλά που δεν διεγνωσθη με πλατυποδία- και δεν θα μπορούσε να υπηρετήσει κι έτσι έμεινε σπίτι του να γκομενίζει.

Για την ιστορία ένας άλλος πρόεδρος που απέφυγε ενεργό δράση με μέσον και χρήμα του μπαμπά του και “υπηρέτησε” αόρατος κάπου -και δεν τον θυμάται κανείς και πουθενά,- ήταν ο πρώτος μας βλαξ πρόεδρος μέχρι που εμφανίστηκε ετούτος εδώ και του πήρε τα σκήπτρα! Μιλάω ασφαλώς για τον Μπους τον νεότερο.

Την περασμένη εβδομάδα, λοιπόν, βρέθηκε ο Τραμπ για πρώτη φορά στο Βιετνάμ για την πολυαναμενόμενη δεύτερη συνάντηση του με τον Kim Jong Un της Βόρειας Κορέας για να τον πείσει σε αποπυρηνικοποίηση κουβαλώντας μαζί του και μερικά “καρότα” τα οποία όμως ο χοντρούλης Κιμ δεν τα βρήκε του γούστου του.

Στο τέλος ούτε συμφωνία επετεύχθη -αυτό κι αν ήταν αναμενόμενο- ούτε “της Κορέας” έγινε…τουλάχιστον όχι ακόμη!

Explanation of the cartoon:

At the time of the Vietnam War, Trump was of age to serve in the armed forces and went for the mandatory medical exam. However, the War was at its height and Trump had better things to do -girls, girls and more girls- than go fight. So using his father’s money and political influence he avoided the draft using as an excuse a bone spur on his foot!

For the story another American president who used daddy’s money and influence to avoid active service was our first idiotic US president until Trump showed up. And of course I’m talking for none other than G.W.Bush Jr. who supposedly served in some capacity somewhere in the States but nobody knows where or remembers him. Now for some people it’s a toss-up on who’s more idiotic, Trump or Bush Jr.

Last week Trump went to Vietnam for the much awaited 2nd meeting with Kim Jong Un of North Korea to discuss its de-nuclearization carrying with him some “carrots” that the Fat Boy Kim didn’t find so appealing and so the talks failed. It was an expected outcome since Trump is ill-prepared for high diplomacy or anything else for that matter and of course once a state has tasted the power that atomic weapons bring there’s very little chance they will abandon their nuclear plans.

So, with one foot at the door and the other in his mouth, Trump abruptly ended the meeting and departed for home.
